Clare's story and the Enneagram

In the second decade of our church plant I was diagnosed with MS. At 40 years old entered a two-year retreat community that changed the trajectory of my life. One key component of my newfound contemplative journey was the  Enneagram. 

 "Clare saw a Harmony Diagram in 2009 that synthesizes her education and experience while opening new   ways to train others in faith, hope, and love. With the risk of sounding overpromised, in over four decades as a helping professional, she has never found a   map for spiritual transformation as meaningful and effective as the ©iEnneagram of Harmony Triads. With that discovery came the book Motions of the Soul and an IEA-accredited training  ©iEnneagram: Motions of the Soul.  

It is a Trinitarian, Enneagram Harmony approach to support the work only the Holy Spirit can do.” 

In the spring of 2019, by God's grace, Clare co-authored Spiritual Rhythms for the Enneagram, published by InterVarsity Press, and in 2021 became the Principal and Chief Architectural Officer of Crossroads School of Spiritual Direction: A Trinitarian and Enneagram Harmony Approach. This unique approach has honored her faith in God  and commitment to helping the people of God open to the work of transformation. 

About Clare

Rev. Clare Loughrige is a church planter, pastor, retreat leader, and justice activist. A formally trained Spiritual Director and Founder of Crossroads Soul Resources and CR School of Spiritual Direction.

Clare is the author of three Enneagram Books and President of the International Enneagram Association (IEA) Great Lakes Chapter. As a credentialed Professional and Teacher with the IEA she has developed a an accredited program that certifies Enneagram instructors.

In addition to Clare's work with faith and educational Communities, she currently serves on boards for Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force, and S.A.F.E. Place Domestic Violence Shelter, Sexual Assault Services Calhoun Count and The SADV Council for Children.  

Clare is thoroughly enjoying her marriage of over 40 years! Mom to 4 and grandma to 7. She loves to dance, sing, write and pray with a conviction that all sustainable action in the world must emerge from a centered and connected life.
